BACKGROUND
- Caracas, 1997. From within Venezuela’s biggest Steel Bridges and Structures fabricator, and one of the largest of Latin America, we founded Icon, to cover the technical needs of a new workshop that was developed to face new challenges. With the resources available at that time, the schedule was three times longer than the project required. The specialized human resource was scarce, therefore we chose a solution based on technology and training. We acquired Xsteel licenses and workstations, trained our staff, received full time in-office support (by Lee Detailing, UK) and created new departments for document control and materials.
- Madrid-Leeds, 2003. We established our offices in Spain and enhanced collaboration with Lee Detailing, our partner in the United Kingdom, who had already cooperated since the beginning of our activities. Since then, we keep serving workshops located in Europe, US and Latin America.
